Roasted Hemp Seeds
Roasted whole hemp seeds are a highly palatable, plant-based source of Omega 3, 6 and 9. The seeds offer a perfectly balanced Omega 3:6 ratio. Hemp seeds are a source of gamma linolenic acid (GLA), an Omega-6 which has been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties, supports immune function and may provide support for metabolic horses.
Roasted Hemp Seed shells are high in fiber and naturally contain inulin, an excellent prebiotic.
At 27%, Roasted Hemp Seeds are also a good protein source, providing all ten essential amino acids, including lysine. They can be fed at higher rates to replace conventional grain-diets for horses needing more calories and protein.
Roasted Hemp Seeds are a natural source of vitamins A and E and have significant amounts of minerals including calcium, magnesium, phosphorus and zinc.
The roasted seeds are much more stable than hemp hearts, requiring no refrigeration, and can be offered at a more affordable price while still maintaining high levels of nutrition.
